DPMM FC completed their tour of Bangkok with two wins in three matches after a 2-1 against Kasetsart FC at the ToT Stadium in Chaeng Watthana yesterday.
DPMM forward Adi Said grabbed the opening goal of the game before Volodymyr Pryyomov notched his third goal in three matches to double his side’s lead.
Kasetsart pulled one back but the Brunei-based outfit held on for the win.
The ‘Gegar Gegar’ men won their first match 2-0 against Air Force Central FC before falling to a 2-0 defeat to Thai Honda FC.
However, they ended the tour on a positive note as they advanced their preparations ahead of their Singapore Premier League opener against Home United FC on April 7.
The defensive department will be of high agenda as Yura Indera Putera and Abdul Aziz Tamit both started to be firmly in newly-appointed head coach Rene Weber’s plans for a starting berth.
The head coach put out a strong line-up with the new attacking quartet of Mojtaba Esmaielzadeh, Azwan Ali, Volodymyr and Adi Said given a nod.
DPMM FC stand-in captain Azwan Salleh and Helmi Zambin also returned to the starting line-up.
