THERE is still no light at the end of the tunnel for DPMM FC.
Two days have passed since the Jan 7 deadline given to DPMM FC expired, but the Brunei side are still waiting for a response from the Football Association of Singapore (FAS) on whether they will be playing in the upcoming Singapore League (S-League) which starts in February.
"We haven't heard anything yet regarding the S-League offer. We haven't played together since we stopped training last year," said Pg Sallehuddin Pg Hj Damit, the ex-DPMM FC captain, when contacted yesterday.
Pg Hj Muhd Waslimin PSJ Pg Hj Abd Momin, the DPMM FC manager, gave the nation a good news last Saturday when he said: "The FAS has offered us another chance of playing in the S-League in the upcoming season.
"We have been given up to Jan 7 to come up with an answer, but we are hoping that the issue regarding Bafa can be resolved in time for us to play in the S-League again," the DPMM FC manager added.
