QAF FC gave further evidence of their team's strength following a 7-1 thrashing of Liverpool Supporters Club (LSC) in their Group B game of the DST National league at the Balapan Sports Complex last night.
Muhammad Hafis Mahari bagged his first hat-trick of the season, helping to ease QAF's journey to the Super League with goals in the 38th, 67th, and 80th minute.
Adie Arsham also gained a well deserved hat-trick.
Adie Arsham helped QAF FC start the game on the right foot by scoring just two minutes after kick off. He would score another one in the 21st minute to help give his team a 3-0 cushion along with Muhammad Hafis Mahari's 38th minute effort by the end of the first half. He would complete his hat-trick with a goal in the 62nd minute.
Mohd Hadiman Abdul Lamit scored QAF's FC 6th goal in the 64th minute.
By now the game was clearly out of Liverpool SC's reach.
They would however salvage some pride, courtesy of Norhamdaney Md Zain who scored the lone goal for his team in the 57th minute.
A notable difference in stamina and supreme confidence in their game play enabled QAF FC to take advantage of their humbled opponents, as QAF FC maintained a monopoly on posession throughout the game.
Leading Group B with maximum points gained, QAF FC will be ending their year on a high, with Liverpool SC having to look at their options to finish their league campaign on a respectable note.
As for the national team coaches, it looks like they have a pool of potential players that they could heavily scout, with the availability of the current progress of the DST National League.
Sangsura FC is slated to play Sri Sentosa FC at the Berakas Sports Complex in Berakas on Friday.
Wijaya FC will also take on Kilanas FC at the Balapan Track and Field in Berakas on the same day.
Both games are scheduled to start at 4pm.
