THE Royal Brunei Armed Forces Sports Council (MS ABDB) successfully secured their third DST FA Cup title after beating Indera Sports Council (SC) 3-2 at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium in Berakas last night. The match, which was initially interrupted in the fifth minute due to heavy rain, resumed 35 minutes later.
The army men broke the deadlock in the sixth minute through Sld Mohd Aliuddin Awg Hj Besar. Indera conceded once again in the 12th minute when a header from SLD Razimie Ramli left little chance for the goalkeeper. Abd Azizi Ali Rahman scored the third one in the 26th minute.
Indera managed to pull one back in the 70th minute. Mohd Asri Hj Aspar scored from the penalty.
Indera scored their second goal in the injury time, thanks to Muhd Nur Ikmal Damit.
